Hornbeck Offshore Services (HOS) secured a multi-year North Sea decommissioning contract with an unnamed major operator, causing its stock to rise 3.5%. The deal, starting Q2 2027, involves Helix Well Ops performing riserless plug-and-abandonment operations using specific vessels and integrated services. Financial terms were undisclosed. This follows the recent completion of Hornbeck's all-stock merger with Helix Energy Solutions.
