# Quanta Services Adds Tech-Focused Director to Board

Quanta Services ( (PWR) ) has shared an update.

On Sept. 9, 2026, Quanta Services’ board expanded from 10 to 11 members and appointed technology entrepreneur Ellen Rubin as a director, with her term running until the next annual meeting unless a successor is chosen earlier. Rubin was also named to the Audit Committee and the Safety, Operations and Risk Committee, and will receive pro-rated cash retainers and restricted stock units in line with the company’s standard non-employee director compensation.

Rubin brings deep experience in AI, cloud computing and cybersecurity, gained from senior roles at Glasswing Ventures, Causely, Amazon Web Services and ClearSky Data, as well as service on Allegion’s board. Her addition strengthens Quanta’s technology and risk-management capabilities at a time when digital innovation and cyber resilience are increasingly central to infrastructure providers’ competitiveness and governance.
