# LENOVO GROUP Soars ~5% as CFO Expects NPM to Reach Dell's Lv.

LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) +1.640 (+5.256%) Short selling $377.92M; Ratio 22.430% 's adjusted net profit margin reached 4% for the first time in 1FQ. Winston Cheng, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, said the group's profit margin improved relatively quickly. In light of industry competition, the group will continue to balance growth and profitability in the future. Over the long term, the group projected its net profit margin at 5-8%, comparable to Dell's level.

LENOVO GROUP shares opened 2.24% higher today (16th) before extending gains, hitting an intraday high of HKD32.7. The stock last traded at HKD32.7, up 4.81%, with trading volume of 28.5519 million shares and turnover of HKD917 million.
