According to the Zhitong Finance APP, BOAN BIOTECH (06955) rose nearly 4%, as of the time of writing, it increased by 3.75%, priced at HKD 2.625, with a trading volume of HKD 2.2693 million.

In terms of news, on September 14, BOAN BIOTECH announced that its investigational PD-1/IL-2 antibody cytokine prodrug BA1203 has received approval from the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China for a new drug clinical trial application (IND), intended for the treatment of various solid tumors. According to the company, this investigational drug is the only IL-2α receptor high-activity, masked, and PD-1 blocking PD-1/IL-2 molecule in the world.

As a new generation IO candidate drug independently developed by the company, BA1203 integrates the dual action mechanisms of PD-1 antibody and IL-2 cytokine, aiming to achieve both immune checkpoint blockade and local immune activation of tumors simultaneously. Following its approval for clinical trials, the company plans to conduct a multicenter, open-label Phase I clinical study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of BA1203 in patients with advanced solid tumors, further validating its advantages in efficacy and safety, and exploring its development pathways for monotherapy and combination therapy, fully unleashing BA1203's differentiated therapeutic potential in PD-1 target binding, immune pathway blockade, and tumor microenvironment immune activation
