# Optical Communications Sector Gains in Overnight Session, AXTI, NOK Up 2.74%

The optical communications sector rose collectively during the overnight session, with most constituents posting gains. As of press time, mainstream tickers in the sector generally strengthened, with AXTI and NOK leading the advance, both up 2.74%. On the derivative ticker front, LITX rose 4.54% to $26.950 in the overnight session, AAOX gained 5.09% to $9.080, and MVLL advanced 3.39% to $26.500. LITZ, due to missing overnight data, used post-market quote of $8.460, up 0.06%. Overall, the optical communications sector saw active overnight trading with positive fund flows, as investors remain optimistic about the prospects of the optical communications industry chain.
