I'm told that several industrial and resource-focused firms are executing some of the most significant overhauls seen this year. According to people familiar with the matter, the push to divest low-margin assets and shake up the C-suite is accelerating rapidly ahead of the next earnings cycle.

### Owens Corning (OC.US)

Owens Corning has seen a modest rebound recently, ticking up over 3% in recent sessions. I'm told the arrival of Jonathan Collins as the new CFO in August is a direct play to double down on higher-margin branded building products. After Q2 net sales flatlined at USD 2.8B, the company is looking to aggressively shed less profitable divisions later this year.

### BW LPG (BWLP.US)

The shipping operator has been on a rollercoaster, dropping over 5% following a USD 300M convertible bond announcement, before recovering as Middle East tensions escalated. The proceeds are earmarked for newbuild vessels. Sources say that despite a Q2 earnings miss, the internal trading desk remains highly bullish on freight rates for the remainder of 2026.

### World Kinect (WKC.US)

World Kinect has been steadily outperforming its peers. According to people familiar with the matter, analysts are now targeting USD 47B in revenue for 2026, marking a 13% jump. The company's recent 15% dividend hike is being internally viewed as the final stamp of approval on its multi-year land business restructuring.

### Compass Diversified (CODI.US)

The private equity firm is still turning the page on last year’s subsidiary turbulence. I've learned that the transition plan for CEO Elias Sabo’s retirement at the end of 2026 is already in full swing. Meanwhile, the recent USD 292.5M divestiture of its Sterno business helped push Q2 continuing operations back into the black.
