# Analyst Reaffirms Buy on Workiva, Citing Strong Leadership, Margin Expansion Goals and Broadening Platform Opportunity

William Blair analyst Patrick McIlwee has maintained their bullish stance on WK stock, giving a Buy rating yesterday.

Patrick McIlwee has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors, notably the strength and cohesion of Workiva’s refreshed leadership team and their clearly articulated strategy for both growth and margin expansion. He views the reaffirmed long-term revenue targets and the higher non-GAAP operating margin goal as credible, implying attractive compounding in both sales and operating income through 2030.

He also emphasizes Workiva’s transition from a single-purpose SEC reporting tool to a broader, integrated platform spanning financial reporting, GRC, sustainability, and niche regulatory workflows. In his assessment, this expanding solution set, combined with platform-level stickiness and new AI-enabled offerings, positions the company to capture more wallet share and deepen penetration in a large, growing addressable market, supporting a favorable risk-reward profile for the stock.

In another report released yesterday, BTIG also assigned a Buy rating to the stock with a $85.00 price target.
