# Micron's (MU) AI Boom Could Outlast the Memory Cycle

Micron (MU) could see its artificial intelligence (AI) boom outlast the memory cycle. Analysts expect about $50.59 billion in revenue and $31.27 in adjusted earnings per share (EPS) when it reports Fiscal Q4 on September 30. Strong AI demand remains the main driver. The more interesting question is whether Micron can keep earning well once memory supply catches up.

CEO Sanjay Mehrotra expects new customer agreements to boost the "durability and predictability" of its performance. The contracts, together with demand for both specialized and conventional server memory, keep me bullish on MU even after its sharp rally.

For context, Micron is a semiconductor company that manufactures computer memory and data storage products including dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), flash memory, high-bandwidth memory (HBM), and solid-state drives (SSDs).
