# Trump Says 3-Hr US-Iran Talks Very Productive

US President Donald Trump said in a speech at the United Nations General Assembly that he is still deciding whether to launch another strike on Iran or seek a peace agreement, but warned that the US could destroy Iran if the conflict remains unresolved.

Trump later told reporters that US officials held a very productive three-hour meeting with the Iranian delegation on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Iranian state television also confirmed that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi had met with US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff.

International oil prices descended more than 1% overnight (22nd), with Brent crude futures sinking below USD100 per barrel. Brent crude futures remained weak this morning (23rd), trading at USD98.86 per barrel.
