# Intel Falls 2.24% as Muse Keeps the CPU Thesis Alive

Intel , the data-center and PC chipmaker, slipped about 2.2% to $121.09 Wednesday morning. That cooled a rally tied to excitement over Meta's Muse agent. According to Barron's, investors have been looking at whether agents could lift demand for server CPUs.

Meta says Muse runs on its own secure cloud computer, uses a browser and can keep working after a user closes the app. That points to computing work beyond the AI accelerators running the model. It does not tell us whose CPUs Meta will buy.

That gap matters for Intel. More agents could mean more server demand, but Intel still has to win the business and turn it into profitable Xeon sales. At $121.09, the shares stand 276.88% above the $32.13 GF Value shown in the picture. Investors are pricing in a lot of success before Muse has produced a disclosed Intel design win.
