Tech Stocks Diverge in Regular Trading, Google Down 4%

Major tech stocks showed divergent performance during regular trading hours on Wednesday (September 23). Google (GOOGL.US) led declines, falling 3.70% to $338.15, with an intraday high of $350.00. Amazon (AMZN.US) dropped 2.18% to $249.43, Apple (AAPL.US) declined 0.93% to $336.58, and TSMC (TSM.US) fell 0.95% to $447.70. In contrast, Meta (META.US) climbed 1.51% to $747.75, while Tesla (TSLA.US) edged up 0.18% to $379.60.

Among derivative ETFs, the 2x Google leveraged ETF (GGLL.US) plunged 7.56% to $96.33, while the Google inverse ETF (GGLS.US) gained 3.50% to $58.98. The 2x Tesla leveraged ETF (TSLL.US) rose 0.44% to $10.35, and the Tesla inverse ETF (TSDD.US) slipped 0.28% to $7.13. On the news front, tech giants showed mixed performance as investors adjusted positions ahead of earnings season. Google faced pressure from search business concerns, while Meta found support from AI advertising expectations.
