The company focused on its ad-supported plan, which it claimed has reached more than 14 million UK viewers. That was close to one in four people in the country. Netflix also said 86% of those users paid close attention when they watched. "We're not the small challenger in this market anymore," said Ed Couchman, Netflix's UK ad chief. The push also rested on Netflix's growing list of UK shows. Anne Mensah, its UK content chief, pointed to hits such as *The Crown* and *The Gentlemen*. She also shared a set of new shows and dates at the event. *Black Doves* season twois set for November 5, 2026, while Charlie Brooker's *Blackmere* is due in 2027. New shows include *Witch Hunt* and *Hot or Cold*, along with a Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua fight set for Cardiff in December. ## **Netflix Expands Ads Suite With New Tools** Netflix had also been adding new tools for UK ad sales. Its Netflix Ads Suite had gained new data, ad aim, and ad result tools since its launch in May 2025. Pause Ads were set to roll out in a new way through ad tech firms, while age and home data would help brands aim ads to more groups. The ad plan was also set to reach nine more EMEA nations on March 1, 2027, adding more room for brands to use Netflix. The UK push was part of a wider plan to link shows, ads, and brand deals. Netflix said its Brand Creative Studio helped firms build ads tied to its shows, such as a Stella Artois deal tied to The Gentlemen. A study by System1 (SST) found that nine in 10 Netflix brand ads in the UK ranked in its top 1% for long-term brand value. Magno Herran summed up the pitch: "When you entertain our fans, you earn the right to sell to them." Netflix's UK expansion and plans to reach other regions are an important step in helping the company compete with other streaming services. However, there have been some hiccups along the way. That includes mounting pressure from Alphabet's (GOOGL) YouTube, which has improved its live event streaming catalog to better compete with Netflix. ## **Is Netflix Stock a Buy, Sell, or Hold?** Turning to Wall Street, the analysts' consensus rating for Netflix is Moderate Buy, based on 25 Buy, seven Hold, and one Sell rating over the past three months. With that comes an average NFLX stock price target of $94.34, representing a potential 31.22% upside for the shares.
