# Storage Chips Intraday Mixed, MRAM Up Over 3%, WDC Down Nearly 5%

On September 24 intraday, the storage chip sector displayed mixed performance. As of press time, Micron Technology (MU.US) edged up**0.38%**to $1,075.90; SanDisk (SNDK.US) fell**3.77%**to $1,748.00; Western Digital (WDC.US) underperformed, down**4.83%**at $450.81; Seagate Technology (STX.US) declined**2.17%**to $903.06; Everspin (MRAM.US) bucked the trend with a**3.34%**gain to $17.66.

Performance varied significantly across the sector. MRAM.US emerged as today's standout, reaching a high of $17.74 intraday before closing up over 3%. In contrast, hard drive storage vendors WDC.US and SNDK.US faced notable pressure, with declines approaching 5% and 4% respectively. STX.US also followed lower but with a more moderate drop.
