# GPU/CPU stocks mixed in trading, INTC up 4%, ARM down 7%

On September 24 during regular trading, GPU/CPU stocks showed divergent performance. Intel(INTC.US) climbed **3.81%** to $127.27, leading the sector higher with a session high matching its gain. AMD(AMD.US) rose **2.32%** to $628.89. ARM(ARM.US) tumbled **7.23%** to $308.50, posting the steepest decline with a session low of $304.16. On the news front, semiconductor stocks displayed notable divergence today as some capital rotated from AI chip names with extended valuations toward traditionally valued chip stocks. Intel strengthened on positive developments in its foundry business, while ARM faced significant profit-taking pressure after substantial prior gains.
