# Trending | U Plummets 6% on Thursday, Some Put options Soar 1299%

On September 24, Eastern Time, Unity Software options saw a total of 241017 contracts traded, with calls accounting for 84% and puts making up 15%.

Unity Software has 658379 contracts outstanding, with calls accounting for 68% and puts making up 31%.

The top volume gainer was the 45 dollars Call option expiring on September 25, 2026, with 9232 contracts traded.

On the news front, U.US fell ~6% to $41.42 on Thursday, with volume surging to 31.76M. The sharp drop to a low of $39.07 triggered heavy hedging, causing select put options to soar 1299% as traders positioned for further downside.
