According to BONA Film Group, the first AI hyper-realistic theatrical film, "Sanxingdui: Future Past," has been officially scheduled for release in cinemas nationwide on October 23, 2026. With a total runtime of 100 minutes, it is the first domestic theatrical film produced using AI technology to receive a public screening license from the China Film Administration. The film was generated and produced by Boka Movie Cloud Studio. All characters are original digital avatars, excluding any digital replicas of real actors. AI handles generation and execution, while creative initiation and artistic judgment were completed by the BONA AIGMS team in accordance with industrial filmmaking processes.
