# Tesla Semi’s Autonomous Upside Seen as Priced In; Hold Rating Reiterated with Unchanged $400 Target

Analyst Andrew Percoco of Morgan Stanley maintained a Hold rating on Tesla, retaining the price target of $400.00.

Andrew Percoco has given his Hold rating due to a combination of factors that balance Tesla’s promising opportunities with a need for valuation discipline. He highlights the Semi program as a meaningful, and perhaps under-recognized, lever for expanding Tesla’s autonomous driving platform, particularly given the far richer unit economics of commercial FSD subscriptions relative to today’s consumer offering.

At the same time, Percoco keeps his price target steady at $400, indicating that much of this long-term upside, including recurring software revenue from autonomous trucking, is already reflected in the current share price. In his view, the risk‑reward profile is fairly balanced at present levels, warranting neither an outright bullish nor bearish stance, and thus supporting a Hold recommendation. 

In another report released on September 24, UBS also maintained a Hold rating on the stock with a $385.00 price target.
