# [A-Share Focus] US Bipartisan Proposal to Restrict Chinese Optical Modules Triggers Over 6% Drop in "Yi-Zhong-Tian" Stocks

(ETNet News Agency Special Report on the 28th) Optical communication equipment suffered a sharp decline, with the CPO concept index plunging. In terms of individual stocks, the three leading optical module companies known as "Yi-Zhong-Tian" fell collectively. Zhongji Innolight (Shenzhen: 300308) dropped 6.57% in the A-share market to close at RMB 837; Eoptolink (Shenzhen: 300502) fell 6.21% to RMB 408; and TFC (Shenzhen: 300394) plunged 7.75% to RMB 247.17.

On the news front, US lawmakers from both parties jointly introduced the "Protecting National Security Systems from Chinese Optical Modules Act" on the 25th. The bill aims to prohibit the federal government from using optical module components produced in China in classified government systems. The proposal explicitly named Zhongji Innolight and Eoptolink, including their subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and regulated products that use relevant firmware, software, or components. The bill is currently at the proposal stage and has not yet taken effect.
