# Canton: TreasurySpring Approved as Super Validator for Fixed-Term Fund Shares - Sep 2026

Canton Network has approved TreasurySpring as a Super Validator to record ownership of newly issued Fixed-Term Fund Shares on Canton, with repo and collateral use to follow. TreasurySpring plans to record $5B of fund shares within 12 months, adding a concrete institutional tokenization mandate to the network.

The Super Validator role places TreasurySpring in the set of participants that write ownership records directly to Canton's ledger, so each newly issued fund share becomes an on-chain asset maintained by the network's validation layer. The $5B recording target is tied to public, escrowed milestones, which makes progress on the mandate observable rather than dependent on announcements alone. As recorded shares move toward repo and collateral use, activity on Canton would extend from issuance into secondary financial workflows, giving CC a growing utility and fee base connected to the volume of fund shares the network records.
