# [AI] DeepSeek Open-Sources Infrastructure Components for Huawei Ascend Computing Platform, Marking Progress in Domestic "Chip-Model Synergy"

(Economic Information Network, Special Report on the 30th) DeepSeek announced today that it has officially open-sourced infrastructure components for the Huawei Ascend computing platform. This marks the latest progress in the synergy between domestic models and computing chips, representing a significant step forward in breaking the ecosystem monopoly of Nvidia (US.NVDA).

DeepSeek stated that the newly open-sourced Ascend infrastructure components include the TileLang high-level language compiler tool, compute libraries, and distributed communication libraries. All these components correspond one-to-one with the previously open-sourced components for the Nvidia platform.

DeepSeek further pointed out that during the R&D process for the Ascend platform, the company collaborated closely with Huawei to jointly advance the 128-card super-node solution based on the Ascend 950. They conducted deep optimization of both computation and communication, noting that "the Huawei team provided unwavering and substantial support."

In addition, this open-source release by DeepSeek includes core computation and communication components for the Ascend platform, offering reusable foundational capabilities for different usage scenarios.
