# Grayscale Zcash Trust completes 3-for-1 share split

Grayscale Zcash Trust (ZEC) ( (ZCSH) ) has shared an announcement.

On September 30, 2026, The Zcash ETF completed a 3-for-1 forward share split of its NYSE Arca-listed shares, with trading on a split-adjusted basis beginning that same day. Shareholders of record as of the close on September 28, 2026 received two additional shares for each pre-split share after market close on September 29, 2026, tripling their share count while leaving the total value of their holdings unchanged.

Following the split, the number of ZCSH shares outstanding increased from 7,989,300 to 23,967,900, and the net asset value per share fell from $111.41 to $37.14, reflecting the mechanical effect of the split rather than any change in the fund’s underlying assets. The ETF continues to trade under the ticker ZCSH with the same CUSIP, and the move is aimed at lowering the per-share price and potentially improving accessibility and liquidity for investors in a high-volatility digital asset product.
