# Airbnb Stock (ABNB) Travels Higher as It Welcomes First Move into AI Search

Shares in short-term rental company Airbnb (ABNB) were 3% higher in early trading after it revealed it was making its first move into AI search and launching a host of new services from laundry to baby-gear. In its Fall update the company said that it was adding new services to the app it launched last year. It is a crucial part of the company's strategy to diversify away from its traditional and under-pressure accommodation model and boost its share price. The company is up 19% in the year-to-date.
