KBRA Releases Research – CMBS Loan Performance Trends: September 2026

In New York, KBRA has published a report on U.S. commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loan performance for September 2026. Among KBRA-rated U.S. private label CMBS, the 30+ day delinquency rate rose by 9 basis points to reach 7.7% in September, up from 7.6% in August. However, the distress rate, which includes delinquent and current-but-specially-serviced loans, decreased by 4 basis points during this period. These findings highlight the evolving trends in CMBS loan performance for September 2026.
