# "Industry Data" Global Rankings of Commercial Civilian Rockets Released: SpaceX First, CAS Space Second

(ETNet News, Special Report on the 2nd) According to a report by Cailian Press, overseas aerospace data platform Flight Atlas shows that as of September 28, global space launches this year have exceeded 170, with a total mass placed into orbit approaching 1,900 tons. SpaceX's Starship, in its 14th mission, successfully placed approximately 52 tons of payload into orbit in a single launch, accelerating the emergence of the trend toward high-capacity, low-cost spaceflight. Falcon 9 continues to maintain its global leading position.

Against the backdrop of intensified payload capacity competition among overseas giants, China's commercial civilian aerospace sector is accelerating its catch-up. In the first three quarters, CAS Space delivered approximately 9 tons of payload to orbit, ranking first among domestic private rockets and second globally among commercial civilian rockets. Oriental Space, LandSpace, and Galactic Energy have successively achieved orbital insertion, bringing the industry into a phase of tiered competition. The scale of China's commercial space market is expected to reach RMB 3.5 trillion by 2026.
