# Stocks in Motion: Galaxy Ent rises 4%, Melco Int'l Dev gains half a percent as Macau National Day holiday inbound travelers increase over 15% year-on-year

(ETNet News Agency Special Report, 9th) Macau gaming stocks rallied across the board. Galaxy Ent (00027) rose 3.7% to 31.78 yuan; Melco Int'l Dev (00200) gained 4.6% to 2.705 yuan; SJM Holdings (00880) advanced 0.8% to 1.29 yuan; Wynn Macau (01128) climbed 2.2% to 5.01 yuan; Sands China Ltd (01928) rose 2.5% to 11.3 yuan; and MGM China (02282) increased 3.3% to 9.51 yuan.

The Macau Public Security Police Force announced yesterday (the 8th) that the number of inbound visitors to Macau during the Mainland China National Day holiday period (1st to 7th) reached 1.143 million, averaging 163,000 per day, a year-on-year increase of 15.5%. Notably, border crossings on the 4th totaled 844,000, with inbound tourists exceeding 210,000, both setting new single-day records for the National Day holiday.

Meanwhile, data from Macau's tourism industry showed that the average hotel occupancy rate in Macau during the National Day holiday was approximately 80%. During peak periods from the 1st to the 5th, occupancy rates generally exceeded 90%, with several hotels reaching 100% occupancy.

Currently, the Hang Seng Index is trading at 24,032, up 246 points or 1%, with main board turnover nearing 57.6 billion yuan. The H-share Index stands at 8,080, up 69 points or 0.9%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is at 4,131, up 58 points or 1.4%.
