The October 8 update also removes Oracle (ORCL) and Pegasystems (PEGA). The changes reflect Ives' view that AI growth is creating new opportunities in enterprise hardware and space infrastructure. The update follows Ives' recent list of his top five tech stocks for 2027. Those picks were Nvidia (NVDA), Microsoft (MSFT), Palantir Technologies (PLTR), Apple (AAPL), and CrowdStrike (CRWD). He expects AI spending to reach $4 trillion over the next few years. ## **Why Did Dan Ives Add Dell Technologies Stock?** Dell supplies the servers firms need to run AI systems. Yorkville Ives sees more companies building their own AI systems instead of relying on large cloud providers. This creates demand for the hardware needed to train and run AI models. The shift also extends to government and defense buyers. Neocloud firms such as CoreWeave (CRWV) and IREN (IREN) are also expanding their data center capacity to meet rising demand for AI computing.
