# BUZZ-MedTech growth concerns likely to overshadow Q3 results, Leerink says

Leerink Partners says it remains cautious about the MedTech sector ahead of Q3 earnings, citing a “somewhat murky” near-term backdrop

Points to growing competition in certain markets, including cardiac devices and diabetes care, uncertain procedure volumes amid higher costs, weakening consumer sentiment and hospital budget pressure from rising interest rates

“We suspect that even positive 3Q results in isolation could be overshadowed by lingering concerns regarding the earnings and growth backdrop for 2027 and beyond,” brokerage says
