# BYD's Self-Developed Embodied AI Robot Design Patent Revealed for the First Time

The design of BYD's self-developed humanoid robot has been revealed.

On October 9, the China National Intellectual Property Administration published a design patent titled "Embodied Intelligent Robot," with BYD Company Limited listed as the patent holder. The patent authorization announcement number is CN310247768S, and it was officially approved on October 6, 2026.

According to the patent drawings, the model adopts a minimalist black-and-white body design, featuring smooth and rounded head lines, and is equipped with multiple sets of high-precision movable joints throughout its body.

The brief description of the patent states that the name of the product in this design is "Embodied Intelligent Robot." The intended use of this design product is for intelligent robots with walking, balancing, and interaction functions, which can be applied in scenarios such as service robots, education, or industry.
