Gerber, during an exclusive conversation with Benzinga, had predicted that the Roadster would be a limited-run model. > Wonder what this is going to cost… tesla roadster $TSLA > > — Ross Gerber (@GerberKawasaki) October 16, 2026 ## Elon Musk Says Flying Cars Are Real Musk, following the Roadster’s reveal, shared a video on the social media platform X, showing the Roadster doing a barrel roll mid-air as it jumped over a row of Tesla vehicles, saying that flying cars were now real. Tesla also revealed key information about the vehicle, which will be available in three trim levels: the base Performance trim, which requires a $50,000 reservation; the limited-run Thrust trim, which will offer under-1-second 0-60 times and the range-topping Rocket trim, which is an invite-only, non-road-legal vehicle that can fly.
