# Singapore fintech funding triples to $1.9b taking 83% of SEA capital

**Ant International’s $1.2b Series A alone accounted for 63% of Singapore’s total.**

Singapore fintech companies raised $1.9b in the first nine months (9M) of 2026, up 205% year-on-year from $623m in 9M 2025, according to data from Tracxn.

The market accounted for 83% of Southeast Asia’s total fintech funding, which rocketed 206% to $2.3b over the period.

Singapore-based Ant International raised $1.2b in a Series A funding round backed by Alibaba and Ant Group, whilst cryptocurrency company Crypto.com raised $400m in a Series D round backed by Citadel Securities. Both deals closed in July.

Across the region, early-stage funding led all stages, surging 354% to $1.4b and accounting for 61% of all capital raised.

Late-stage funding also grew 137% to $806m across seven rounds, compared with $340m across six rounds in 9M 2025.

Conversely, seed funding dropped 46% to $53.3m across 18 rounds, down from $99.5m across 46 rounds in the same period last year.

On the exit side, acquisitions fell to 12 from 14 in 9M 2025. Grab made the highest-valued acquisition of the period after acquiring Atome for $1.5b.

No fintech initial public offerings were recorded in the region.

West Jakarta ranked second after Singapore, raising $270m, all from Ajaib’s Series C round in August. Taguig ($60m), Kuala Lumpur ($35m), and Jakarta ($10m) rounded out the top five.
