# Corning: Buy Rating Reaffirmed as Optical and AI Opportunities Expand; $200 Price Target Maintained

Bank of America Securities analyst Wamsi Mohan has reiterated their bullish stance on GLW stock, giving a Buy rating on October 8.

Wamsi Mohan has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to Corning’s expanding Optical and AI-related opportunities. He sees accelerating demand from Enterprise and data-center interconnect customers, underpinned by new agreements with major carriers, as supporting structurally higher revenue and operating profit over the next several years.

He also highlights near-term momentum, with Optical, Glass Innovations, and Solar all contributing to sequential growth and margin leverage as capacity ramps. Based on his updated multi-year earnings outlook and confidence in continued positive estimate revisions, he maintains a $200 price target, unchanged from his prior view, implying meaningful upside from the current share price.

Mohan covers the Technology sector, focusing on stocks such as Apple, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and HP. According to TipRanks, Mohan has an average return of 45.2% and a 63.06% success rate on recommended stocks. 

In another report released on October 8, Citi also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $220.00 price target.
