# Counterpoint: Global PC Shipments Fall 21% YoY in 3Q26, LENOVO GROUP  Shipments Down 23%

Preliminary data from Counterpoint Research showed that global PC shipments fell 21% YoY to 57 million units in 3Q26, and declined 13.8% QoQ, as higher prices for memory and other components pushed up PC selling prices.

LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) -0.520 (-2.245%) Short selling $459.90M; Ratio 26.276% reported a 23% YoY decline in shipments to 15 million units in the third quarter, with market share at 26.3%, maintaining its position as the world's largest PC vendor. HP Inc. (HPQ.US) ranked second, with shipments falling 31% YoY to 10.3 million units and market share at 18.1%. Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL.US) ranked third, with shipments down 25% YoY to 7.6 million units and market share at 13.3%. Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) ranked fourth, with shipments declining 11% YoY to 5.6 million units, while market share rose to 9.8%.

Counterpoint forecast global PC shipments to fall 27% YoY in 4Q26, saying the PC industry is entering a structural adjustment cycle. Rising component costs, higher device prices and longer replacement cycles are reshaping the market landscape.
