The company reported serving over 6,500 AI customers, a 30% increase, backed by $60.9 billion in AI-server orders and a $95 billion backlog. # Dell Stocks Rise 2.1% as New AI Systems Face a 2027 Delivery Test

AI-systems supplier Dell Technologies expanded its Nvidia hardware lineup, with shares at $462.51, up approximately 2.12%, at 11:30 a.m. ET on October 23. The rollout gives investors two timelines to watch. According to Data Center Dynamics, the smaller Vera CPU server arrives this month, while the Vera rack and Groq 3 inference system are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. The products broaden Dell's AI offering, but some of the shipping opportunity sits next year. DCD

Demand is building. Dell said its AI Factory with Nvidia now serves more than 6,500 customers, compared with 5,000 last quarteran increase exceeding 30%. Its preceding earnings release reported $60.9 billion in AI-server orders, $16.4 billion in AI-server revenue and a $95 billion ending backlog. That backlog represents roughly 5.8 times the quarter's AI-server revenue. It signals substantial business to fulfill, without telling investors exactly when those orders become sales. investors.delltechnologies.com

The valuation raises the stakes: Dell trades 91.39% above the $241.66 GF Value estimate, leaving a substantial premium against that benchmark. Customer growth helps explain the enthusiasm. Protecting that enthusiasm takes execution. Dell needs to meet launch dates, turn orders into shipments and preserve margins along the way. Cash conversion matters, too. Rising inventory and receivables can soak up cash even while revenue accelerates. The next test is how much profitable cash Dell can generate from the demand already on its books.
