# XIAOMI-W  Unveils Open-Source Hardware HachimoDock

Mainland media reported that HachimoDock, an open-source AI hardware device incubated by the innovative product team under XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) +0.040 (+0.149%) Short selling $437.59M; Ratio 40.657% 's technology committee, has been unveiled. The desktop AI device can be freely customized by users based on personal preferences. Its compact body integrates capabilities including personalized desktop pets, voice-controlled PC-side agents, smart home connectivity and custom component creation.

According to the introduction, the self-assembly hardware cost of HachimoDock is about RMB150. The team hopes the device can lower the barrier to experiencing AI hardware and become the first AI hardware device for the mass market to get started with Vibe Coding.

At present, HachimoDock has released its software source code on GitHub and provides a hardware bill of materials, structural component models and assembly tutorials, allowing users to modify the device freely according to their own ideas.
