# IDC: Alibaba Cloud Makes up of 46.6% of CN LLM MaaS Mkt, Ranking First

International Data Corporation (IDC) recently released the "China AI Software Market Semi-Annual Tracker, 26H1" report, which showed that China's MaaS market sized RMB10.63 billion in 1H26, with its share in China's public cloud PaaS market rising from 5.2% in 2H25 to 21%, beginning to bring disruptive impacts to the existing market landscape.

In 1H26, vendors including Volcengine, BABA-W (09988.HK) -2.800 (-2.831%) Short selling $543.12M; Ratio 8.871% , Z.AI (02513.HK) -39.500 (-6.912%) Short selling $506.08M; Ratio 19.771% and BIDU-W (09888.HK) -1.600 (-2.074%) Short selling $108.12M; Ratio 11.746% secured advantages and major market shares. Competition within modalities was the fiercest. In terms of China's LLM MaaS market share, Alibaba Cloud ranked first with 46.6%, while Z.AI, Volcengine, BIDU-W and IFLYTEK (002230.SZ) -0.550 (-1.445%) ranked second to fifth with 10.6%, 10.2%, 6.7% and 3.5%, respectively.
