# Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Drawn Into China Intelligence Probe

The New York Times reported that U.S. intelligence agencies believe an executive at Nvidia customer Megaspeed was gathering intelligence for China and grew close to CEO Jensen Huang.

Alice Huang works at the Singapore-based firm, which U.S. officials suspect helped Chinese companies access advanced computing capacity. Surveillance reportedly raised concerns she could reach sensitive Nvidia information or Trump administration China policy details.

Nvidia said its dealings with Alice Huang were ordinary business and that customers such as Megaspeed receive no trade secrets or national security information. The allegations do not establish that Jensen Huang knowingly helped Chinese intelligence or shared confidential details.

The Times said President Donald Trump was briefed about a year ago but did not act, citing concerns over chip sales and trade ties. Megaspeed's Malaysian affiliate bought at least $4.8 billion of AI equipment containing Nvidia chips from June 2024 to February 2026, according to trade records cited by the Times.
