On the supply front, some of China’s refiners started their November spot discussions following the issuance of a fourth batch of export quota. A handful of other Asian refiners also continued with November sales, though December activity will likely start next week. These spot November deals were mainly done in discounted territory of $3 to $4 a barrel, multiple trade sources said. Demand-wise, buying interest surfaced from at least two southeast Asian importers for November shipments, though traders are still expecting regional supply to outpace demand going into the year-end. The east-west price spread widened to its largest discount in three weeks, following news of rising Asian supplies, with some shipping enquiries starting to emerge on this trade route. Refining margins (GO10SGCKMc1) hovered at slightly more than $54 a barrel, remaining at more than three-month lows. The trading window lacked deals the entire week. Cash differentials (GO10-SIN-DIF) recovered from the previous session to nearly 50 cents a barrel. Jet fuel selling interest emerged from at least one China refiner, with negotiations underway, though deals in early week remained done in the discounted territory of $1 to $2 a barrel. Some buying action on the kerosene front from northeast Asia could also emerge as some buyers stock up ahead of the winter heating demand season. A handful of discussions were also heard for the east-west trade route, as sellers seek demand outlets outside of Asia. Regrade (JETREG10SGMc1) remained in discounted territory, reflecting the weaker market expectations for jet fuel in comparison with gasoil. ### SINGAPORE CASH DEALS (O/AS) - No deal for jet fuel or gasoil ### INVENTORIES - Jet fuel stocks independently held in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub fell to their lowest since 2014 on the week, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed on Thursday.
