# SpaceX Relies on Anthropic for a Third of Its Revenue

SpaceX's largest customer is Anthropic, which accounted for 34.5% of the company's third-quarter revenue, Bloomberg reported, citing a person familiar with the matter. SpaceX shares were down 4.01% as of 10:00 a.m. ET.

SpaceX's quarterly filing identifies the buyer only as Customer B, whose revenue sits in the Super Intelligence segment, the AI computing unit that generated $7.56 billion of SpaceX's $14.58 billion in third-quarter revenue. Anthropic's payments have overtaken those from the U.S. federal government, previously SpaceX's largest customer, Bloomberg reported.

Anthropic has agreed to spend as much as $120.5 billion under computing contracts with SpaceX through 2029, about $3.1 billion a month starting in December, according to Bloomberg, citing Anthropic's IPO disclosures. The agreements allow Anthropic to terminate them with 90 days' notice from early 2027, the report said.
