# Check Point Software meets expectations amid flat Q3 profit

JERUSALEM, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Israel-based cybersecurity firm Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP.O) reported flat quarterly profit on Monday, while posting double-digit revenue growth in subscriptions that protect corporate networks from cyber threats.

- Third-quarter earnings per share excluding one-off items fell to $2.49 from $3.94 a year earlier. Revenue slipped 1% to $670 million
- In connection with a tax settlement signed during the third quarter of 2025, the company updated its tax provisions during that quarter, which resulted in a benefit of approximately $1.47 to EPS

- Security subscriptions revenue in Q3 reached $339 million, up an annual 11%
- In Q3, Check Point bought back 2.5 million of its own shares at a cost of $325 million. In May, Check Point’s board authorised a $2 billion expansion of its share buyback programme. Over the past 12 months, Check Point bought back 9 million of its own shares
- “We believe revenues reached a trough in the third quarter, and we expect gradual improvement beginning in the fourth quarter. The recovery is taking longer than anticipated, but we remain confident in our vision. Our leading indicators are improving, which is encouraging, and we remain focused on driving sustainable growth,” said CEO Nadav Zafrir
