A-share midday review: The Shanghai Composite Index rose slightly by 0.28% in half a day, with the dairy industry and three-child concept stocks continuing to be active

The three major A-share indices showed mixed performance in the morning session. As of the lunch break, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.28%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 0.16%, the ChiNext Index dropped by 0.51%, and the Northbound 50 Index increased by 1.86%. The total market turnover for the half-day was 1,073.2 billion yuan, a decrease of 25 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 3,100 stocks in the market rose. In terms of sectors, oil and gas extraction, dairy, marine engineering equipment, Huawei HiSilicon, planting and breeding, real estate, and automotive parts sectors led the gains; while non-ferrous metals, securities, brain-computer interface, and AI agent concept stocks saw the largest declines. On the market, dairy and three-child concept stocks continued their strong performance in the morning, with JFLB, EVERJOY HEALTH, Aiyingshi, Beingmate, and Sunshine Dairy hitting the daily limit; Huawei HiSilicon concept stocks strengthened at the beginning of the session, with Jingsai Technology hitting the daily limit of 30cm and Shenzhen Huaqiang also reaching the limit; the marine engineering equipment sector became active again, with Qianeng Hengxin hitting the daily limit of 20cm at the start, and Julisi also achieving three consecutive limits, while Hailanxin, Tianhai Defense, and Zhongke Haixun saw significant gains. The non-ferrous metals sector experienced fluctuations and adjustments in the morning, with Huaxi Nonferrous Metals falling over 6%, and Xianglu Tungsten Industry, Dongfang Tantalum, and Tin Industry Co., Ltd. all experiencing varying degrees of decline
