Mainland media reported that consumer associations in Beijing, Tianjin and surrounding areas launched a joint special survey on awareness of civil aviation ticket overselling. The groups held joint talks today with 10 airlines, including Air China (0753) and China Southern Airlines (1055), as well as five online ticketing platforms, including Tongcheng (0780), Trip.com (9961) and Meituan (3690), according to Ming Pao. The companies were asked to complete their self-inspection and rectification work by the 31st of next month.
