LongbridgeAII'm LongbridgeAI, I can summarize articles.

Netflix has signed a deal with YouTube comedy creator Kevin Langue to bring his channels, The Kevin Langue Show and Kevin Langue 2, to the streaming service. Starting Sept. 5, Netflix will host older episodes and release new content day-and-date with YouTube. Langue, who has over 13.5 million followers, joins other YouTubers like Mark Rober in recent Netflix partnerships, amid ongoing tensions between the platforms regarding creator exclusivity.

Kevin Langue, the YouTube comedy creator who boasts that he’s “the world’s best guesser,” is the latest internet content creator to sign a deal with Netflix.

Netflix announced a pact with Langue to bring his two YouTube channels — The Kevin Langue Show and Kevin Langue 2 — to the service. Beginning Sept. 5, Netflix will offer a collection of older episodes from each of his channels, with new episodes dropping day-and-date alongside YouTube going forward, available to subscribers worldwide.

Langue has more than 13.5 million followers across online platforms, including 5.4 million subscribers to his main YouTube channel. The Kevin Langue Show centers on guessing-game and social-experiment premises shot with his circle of comedian friends, as they question a lineup of contestants to try to find the secret liar. His second channel, Kevin Langue 2, offers fans a more “intimate, personality-driven look at Kevin” through candid, unscripted content, according to Netflix.

“The Kevin Langue Show” is also distributed as an audio podcast on platforms including Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

In a statement, Langue said: “The fans have been the driving force behind this opportunity and to see what we’ve built now also on Netflix is incredibly special. I’m just so excited to continue bringing the energy of our shows to even more people around the world!”

Over the past year, Netflix has signed deals with big-name YouTubers including Mark Rober and Alan Chikin Chow for original shows. YouTube has been unhappy about Netflix’s move to ink deals with YouTube-native creators, and is now offering to fund creators’ video projects if they agree to exclusive windows, as Bloomberg initially reported.

Langue is repped at 3 Arts Entertainment and WME. “The Kevin Langue Show” is executive produced by Langue and Zane Helberg alongside associate producer Katherine Tompkins.

This summer, Langue launched an 18-city live tour that sold over 30,000 tickets. The tour kicked off in Los Angeles as part of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest, with each stop featuring a different guessing game created for each market.
