Space stocks mixed in overnight trading, ASTS down 6%, RKLB falls 2%
Space stocks traded mixed during overnight hours Tuesday (September 1). AST SpaceMobile (ASTS.US) fell nearly 6% in overnight trading to $55.72, touching a session low of $55.69. Rocket Lab USA (RKLB.US) dropped more than 2% to $61.19, with a session low of $61.03. Redwire (RDW.US) declined over 1% to $10.15, hitting a low of $10.15 during the session.
No company-specific news drove the move. Space stocks retreated in line with the broader market, with most names posting modest losses. Dimityx (DXYZ.US) fell about 1.3% to $31.19 in overnight trading, while Vocera Communications (VCX.US) edged down roughly 0.1% to $34.20. Among derivative ETFs, the 2x leveraged AST SpaceMobile ETF (ASTX.US) dropped more than 2% to $9.04, the 2x leveraged Rocket Lab ETF (RKLX.US) fell over 4% to $13.77, and the SpaceX-related ETF (SPCX.US) declined about 0.3% to $141.79.
