BASF expects adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for 2026 to be between €6.2 billion and €7 billion, lower than the estimated €7.22 billion. Free cash flow is expected to be between €1.5 billion and €2.3 billion, compared to an estimate of €2.14 billion. Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) for the fourth quarter were €76 million, a year-on-year decrease of 84%, lower than the estimated €189.9 million. Net profit was €560 million, compared to a loss of €786 million in the same period last year. Adjusted loss per share was €0.34, compared to a net profit of €0.59 per share in the same period last year, with an estimated net profit per share of €0.40
