Two Indian LPG Carriers Transiting the Strait of Hormuz
Ship tracking data shows that two Indian-flagged vessels carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) are transiting the Strait of Hormuz, hugging the Iranian coastline. The data indicates that the Jag Vasant and Pine Gas, two Indian-flagged very large gas carriers, sailed north from the UAE coast early Monday morning toward Iran's Qeshm and Larak islands. These two super-tankers identified their Indian nationality rather than their destinations, but they are likely heading to India. (Bloomberg)
