STOCKS | S&P 500 Falls 0.5% as Energy Gains More Than 1.1%

According to Wallstreetcn, the S&P 500 Index initially fell 0.5%, with industrials, consumer discretionary, utilities, real estate, and consumer staples down as much as 1.5%, technology down 0.1%, and energy up more than 1.1%; the Nasdaq 100 Index initially fell 0.3%, while Comcast fell 6.6%, Shopify dropped 5.6%, CoreWeave fell 5%, KLA, SpaceX, AXON, Airbnb, Strategy, and Alphabet A shares fell at least 2.3%, ASML ADRs fell 2.2%, Seagate Technology, Thomson Reuters, Amazon, and Intel fell at least 1.7%, Apple fell 0.2% on the day it first unveiled a foldable iPhone at its fall product event, AMD rose 1.4%, Meta rose 6.4%, and Datadog rose 7.3%.
