The S&P 500 index closed down about 0.4% preliminarily, and the Nasdaq 100 index closed down about 0.5% preliminarily. The energy, technology, real estate, and telecommunications sectors saw the largest declines, each dropping by up to 0.9%. In terms of individual stocks, Intuit fell 5.8%, Diamondback Energy dropped 3.4%, Regeneron Pharma, Palantir, and Autodesk all fell by about 3.1%. Meanwhile, Arm Holdings and AppLovin had the largest gains, each rising by up to 2%. Tesla rose about 3%, Intel rose 3.5%, Micron Tech rose 3.8%, and Electronic Arts rose 4.9%
