Italy Industrial Output Drops More than Expected
Italy's industrial production fell by 1% in October 2025, exceeding forecasts of a 0.3% drop. Consumer, capital, and intermediate goods saw declines, while energy output rose slower than before. Annually, output decreased by 0.3%, contrary to expectations of a 0.2% rise. Significant annual declines were noted in chemical products, textiles, and petroleum products.
