The company develops and operates iSpecimen Marketplace, a proprietary online marketplace platform that connects medical researchers who need access to subjects, samples, and data with hospitals, laboratories, and other organizations who have access to them. Its marketplace offers human biospecimens, including Biofluids, such as whole blood, plasma, serum, urine, saliva, sputum, nasopharyngeal material, and cerebral spinal fluid; Solid tissue comprising fresh, fixed, and cryopreserved tissue, as well as formalin-fixed paraffin embedded blocks, slides, and curls; and Hematopoietic stem and immune cells, including bone marrow, cord blood, whole blood, or sub-components of these tissues, such as peripheral blood mononuclear cells and other isolated cell types.
