Notably, Xiaomi EV delivered 30,452 vehicles in July last year. That means year-on-year growth would be minimal if the actual July figure came in only slightly above 30,000.
Xiaomi EV delivered 185,055 vehicles in the first half, up 17.18% year on year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost. June deliveries of 34,738 units were the second-highest monthly total of the year.

The divergence between models continues. The YU7 SUV delivered 104,559 units in the first half and has become the volume mainstay, while the SU7 sedan delivered 80,496 units, down 48.30% year on year.
A new product line is the key variable for Xiaomi in the second half. On July 30, the company formally unveiled Sky Nomad, its second vehicle series, extending its business into extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) for the first time.
The flagship N90 Max is priced at 299,900 yuan ($44,171) in pre-sales, while the smaller N70 Max starts at 259,900 yuan. Both are scheduled to go on sale officially in September.
That pricing places the N90 Max below the 339,000 yuan Model Y L, the six-seat SUV from Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA), and puts it in direct competition with Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) and Huawei-backed Aito.
The Sky Nomad N90 is expected to appear at the Chengdu Auto Show, which opens on August 21.
